events but over a period transitioned to become a world class sprinter.

In his first world championships in 1987 in Melbourne he emerged with 3 gold medals.

Since then he has gone on to win more medals in World Championships than any other male Australian sprinter.

In 2010 Peter was awarded the ‘ World Male Masters Athlete of the Year’ and flown to Monte Carlo by the IAAF to a function, which included Prince Albert and was presented with his award by Lord Sebastian Coe.pc_indoor200_2006

Peter is a level 4 sprints coach who has coached a few Olympians and currently coaches a large squad of sprinters and middle distance athletes in Sydney and by correspondence around Australia. One of his ‘protégés’ is Marge Allison who is Australia’s most prolific female record breaker and medal winner in Australian masters history.
